Château du gazin

Fronsac, historical centre, was Charlemagne's fortified town then the ownership of Richelieu.

The Château du Gazin AOC Canon Fronsac is located at 40km north east from Bordeaux and along Saint Emilion and Pomerol. It hides in a superb valley which cuts the tray fronsadais.

Built in 1532, it already produces great wines thanks to its soil of exception. Former seigneury, it is modified in 1732 but the pigeon house is kept by origin. It is bought in 1933 by Georges Robert, from Burgondy. Wounded during the first World War, he stayed in Libourne to marry his wife. First taxi, then wine merchant, he managed to buy this vineyard. His nephew Henri takes back the head at the end of the 60s. It is Georges-Antoine, his son today, who succeeds him.
